I was listening to your radio show this morning and was caught completely off-guard by your comments and demeanor concerning global warming/climate change spending. First, even the most conservative models for climate change predict a cascade of effects that will (and to some degree already have) raise sea levels around the world, create catastrophic droughts affecting hundreds of millions, more vicious tropical storms– the list goes on. There is no doubt among the worlds leading scientists about where we are heading if we do not act now. Yes, it is going to be expensive (gee, maybe we shouldn’t have ignored our _leading scientists_ for so long),but it is an ethical imperative. Fighting terrorism is important- don’t worry, we aren’t forgetting about it- but the climate change issue needs to be given the attention it deserves as the _single biggest threat_ that affects everyone on this planet. Your radio show appears to be just one big FUD campaign- with the way you said “French” this morning, referring to the IEA, or the way you sarcastically referred to World Environment Day. Needless to say, I have no respect for you, your narrow-minded (I wanted to say, pea-brained) views, or the scare tatics you use to side-swipe the real issues.

(BTW- don’t even bother ‘featuring’ this email if you’re not going to present it in its true form or plan on spinning me off as some ‘nutcase’. My views are backed by _real_ science and legitimate issues affecting all of us.)
